I'd like to introduce you to my ecoadventure guest ranch in Northeast Sonora, Mexico, just 60 miles from the Arizona border at Douglas. My name is Manu and our ranch encompasses 30,000 acres of unspoiled, isolated, scenic and breathtaking land. We like to think that this area is an outdoors and nature lover's paradise, with canyons, mountains, mid-elevation hills, riparian riverbeds, a 20 mile long lake and the Bavispe River, an amazing river boxed in by a canyon, which is also a class I and II waterway. Our elevation range is 3,200 ft in Canyon Country to 7,400 ft atop El Pinito Mountain.
With unlimited hiking, trekking, backpacking, kayaking, canoeing, exploring, jeep tours, mountain biking, nighttime excursions, fishing, stargazing, wildlife spotting and relaxing, all in a land lost in time, with an opportunity to explore 2000 year old petroglyph sites, and the absolute joy of being the only person on the entire property, with 30,000 acres of Sonoran/Chihuahuan desert environment as your personal playground, we feel the serious outdoorsperson, of all shapes, sizes and ages, will love it here. This is truly an outdoors and nature lover's mecca.
Together with excellent accomodations, modern lodging, roundtrip transportation, great Mexican and American food, and of course our Mexican hospitality, we feel this guest ranch, which is not a Dude Ranch, has a lot to offer. The land has been compared to Zion and Big Bend National Parks by past guests. If this ranch were in the US, it would probably be a national park. And, with such close proximity to the US border, there is no inconvenience of having to travel deep into Mexico.
But do not believe the words I have written. Please visit our website and see for yourself. We have great discounts and specials available throughout 2009. Simply email or call us and tell us you saw us on this forum. Plan your escape today, you won't regret one minute of it. I apologize for posting this message, but I feel very strongly in my desire to share this beautiful and majestic land with all nature lovers.
