The books and software below provide a useful collection of hikes that
span many regions.

North America- A software CDrom with 1,042 hikes from around the
country. The user interface is not great, but it is an excellent
collection of hikes including detailed maps. This guide seems to be
out of production, but used and new versions are availabel very
inexpensively.
